A row, column or box. 9 rows + 9 columns + 9 boxes = 27 units in a grid, every unit consist of 9 cells
Value
Depends on what clues are offered, but typically the numbers 1 to 9, can be substituted by a distinct set of symbols, letters, shapes or colours
Chute

Band
A horizontal chute is called a band, they are top, middle and bottom
Stack
A vertical chute is called a stack, they are left, middle and right
